Lock and unlock
Tap your phone on the device to lock your apps, and tap again to unlock them. Here's what happens in between.

Tap to lock
Screen on, hold the back of your phone on the device. You'll see Locked. On the Lock tab, tap Tap or hold to lock. Then hold the top edge on the device.

Your apps are locked
The Lock tab shows how many apps are blocked and how long you've been locked.

Open a locked app
You'll see it's locked: Tap your device to unlock. Tap Go home to leave. Apple's Screen Time screen appears: Locked with your device. Tap Close to leave.

Walk to it to unlock
Tap your phone on the device. You'll see Unlocked. Everything opens again. Open the Pauzie Device app, tap Tap your device to unlock, and hold the top edge on it.

Check the basics
Make sure your screen is on and unlocked, and NFC is on. Phone won't read it → iPhone reads it only while the Pauzie Device app is open, after you tap the button. Phone won't read it →

That's someone else's device. Only the device paired to your phone can lock and unlock it.
